SAT/ACT Preparatory Classes

Monday-Friday 8:00-8:45am, Trinity Wesleyan Church, Student Center, Salisbury, $175 Offered 4 times this spring:

February 26-March 9, March 19-30, April 23-May 4, May 21-June 1

This class covers basic subject matter on these two exams (reading, math, english and science) as well as essay-writing. A large focus of this class is the development test-taking strategies that are specific to these tests and have proven to increase scores. There are many factors that the vast majority of students never consider - factors that can significantly affect your score. This course will cover a number of “short-cuts” and lesser known facts about the tests that can make them less confusing and allow the students to work more quickly (and even guess more accurately, if necessary) in the time that they have. At many colleges, scholarship funds and grants are often tied directly to your scores on these exams. The higher your score the more money you get for your four years of college!

The textbooks are optional. Most of the included material is practice tests. Homework will be to practice the strategies discussed in class.
