Hello all!

Just a reminder of the Intergenerational Program at the VA today, January 8, at 2pm.  There will not be a program next week on January 15 due to the the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday.

Intergenerational Program Details:
On Mondays at 2pm, RCHSA has an ongoing (year-round) volunteer opportunity with veterans at the Salisbury VA campus (1601 Brenner Ave., Salisbury, NC  28144).  We meet for about one hour in the Community Living Center, building #42, at the rear of the campus. Children and adults interact with the veterans in a variety of fun activities - cooking, crafts, birthday parties with Bingo, fishing, ceramics, writing, bowling, kickball, Pictionary & other games, and more.

Entering from Brenner Ave., turn right at the stop sign.  When you come to another stop sign, go straight & follow the signs for building #42.  A campus map is available at

This program is for all ages - preschoolers through teens.  When you enter building #42, walk straight until you reach the atrium area (called Main Street).  At the grand piano, turn left and you will find the intergenerational meeting area in front of you.  No RSVP is required.

Come make a difference in the lives of some of our nation's heroes who fought to provide the freedoms we enjoy as homeschoolers!
